part two.
This weekend was way too fucking perfect and too many perfect pictures were taken to share them on here. Just the combination of the people and places were mesmerizing.
Honestly, I kinda forgot about this blog. However, I have a lot of work to update you with, so in the near future I shall get on that and blast you all with new art to make your eyes feel pretty.
Series of posters based on the typographic modular system SuperVeloz, designed by Joan Trochut in the first half of the 20th century. Having borrowed from history, the challenge was to create our own visual language. We created a personalised ‘AGI BCN’ alphabet which would allow us to use a flexible system based on the initials of each speaker and guest. Each speaker was represented by a different set of initials. We pared down type and colour to let them shine, transforming the initials into the focal part of the campaign across a broad range of digital and printed matter. With Mario Eskenazi, Pablo Martín, Andreu Balius and Patrick Thomas (AGI Spain).

As you may be wondering, my name is Julia Jackson and I am currently a graphic design student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. This blog is dedicated to wonderfully inspirational designs/typography/photography/quotes and short blurbs that turn on my internal drive to create. In addition I plan on posting works and doodles of mine as they come to existence. Hope you enjoy!
